June’s signs of love from our experts
Not only do we really care about our awesome clients, we care about our amazing experts too!
How we stacked up compared to last month
Our support stats (via intercom) went down a bit from last month as most of the team travelled to WordCamp Europe in Vienna at the end of the month; our entire team was there from June 23 thru June 29. This is something I failed to account for when making our goals last month.
With the team being in Vienna for a week, it took us mostly offline. We were checking in as often as possible considering the bad internet connection at the conference; luckily there was an ace up our sleeve. Chris stayed behind to man the support ship and pulled triple duty to keep tickets in check and reply quickly on them.
While Chris isn’t normally on regular support replying to tickets (he’s more of our advanced support team and one of our senior in-house WordPress developers), he helped a Lot of clients and experts while we were attending the conference and for that, we thank you!
HAZAA!! The new screening process is a massive success!
Our new screening and testing process that was implemented for our expert applicants last month is a massive success! The numbers are holding true and we’re screening out the top 2-3% of the best applicants to place in as experts.
As a result, all of our new experts are doing an amazing job and we couldn’t be more proud of them! Not only is their communication and code verified to be great, clients are all very happy and rating their completed projects with 5 out of 5 stars and awesome reviews.
Please help us welcome our newest experts!
Here are our new experts added to our team in June, who have passed our multiple tests and are guaranteed to deliver on the Codeable quality promise:
- Ajay Verma
- Andy Towler
- Chad Lamson
- Victor M. Font Jr.
- Katalin Anna Krupa
- Christian Bell
- Andrew Krzynowek
- Daniel Bachhuber

WordCamp Vienna 2016 #wceu
WordCamp Europe 2016 was a great experience. There were a lot of brilliant presenters speaking on all sorts of different WordPress related topics, Matt Mullenweg had a really captivating Q&A session with our friend Brian Krogsgard about his daily habits, what keeps him going, and of course the future of WordPress and where he sees it heading. I highly recommend checking out the WordCamp.tv version of it.
Our own Tomaz Zaman gave a great presentation on not selling yourself too cheap and charging more for the value you provide. He kept the talk fun and engaging and told a really great story to illustrate the point:
One of my favorite parts of the week with the team was getting everyone together to strategize and plan for the future of Codeable; talking about where we’re heading and what role everyone on the team will play to get us there. It’s very exciting times ahead and we’re thrilled to say we’re just getting started!
What’s in store for next month?
From our team trip to Vienna, there are now a lot of big initiatives in progress. Our goals as a company are to continue increasing our qualified and targeted traffic, some exciting partnerships, developing a more advanced system of matching projects with experts, telling more of our clients stories of how we’ve helped their sites and grow their businesses by working together, and improving on our platform to create a better user experience for both clients and experts, and a few other initiatives.
While we’ll be working hard on these new plans, we aim to maintain our high quality standards of support and response times and work hard to get back to where we were last month (which isn’t far off), as well as continue to onboard new experts to keep up with our increasing number of projects being posted.
We’re on an incredible journey and we’re excited to share it with you!
